Asbestos decontamination of the EDF tower in Paris
During the reclamation works in some central areas of Paris, Tecnologie Industriali & Ambientali carried out the asbestos decontamination of the former EDF headquarters, currently called Tour Mozart, one of the most modern skyscrapers in the city. The intervention was particularly difficult and was carried out on a wide area:
- EDF tower - 22 floors + 3 underground floors, for a total of 32,900 m2
- site tower - 6 floors + 3 underground floors, for a total of 9,000 m2
Various materials contained asbestos within the building: structural elements coating, ceilings and pipes, in a compact form on the façade, linoleum and tar floorings and gaskets.
